Campion's Daanyaal Hussain puts his head in where it hurts against Westwood Jets' Aaron Davies
Wilsden, Steeton and Thackley may be threats below them but Campion maintained their lead in Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League Under-16 Division A with a 5-3 home victory over Westwood Jets.
Campion’s man-of-the-match Usmaan Hussain led the way with a hat-trick, fellow striker Shoaib Khan, who was later sent off for retaliation, and defender Mohammed Aqeel Khan (penalty) getting the other goals.
Bradford Park Avenue Under-12s beat Bingley 12-2 on a superb afternoon for football, goals coming from Niall Brame (4), man of the match Billy Enoch (3), Ollie Raistrick (3) and Connor Barley (2).
Also impressive for Avenue were captain Ewan Pyrah and keeper Jake Brame.
Avenue under-18s must have felt they were never going to add to Danny Parkinson’s fantastic header, and paid for it in the last 30 seconds when Eldwick equalised.
Outstanding centre back James Clegg was Avenue's man of the match.
Baildon Dynamoes won an entertaining under-sevens clash in the Keybury Junior League 4-3 against Avenue Geckos.
Baildon’s goals came from Alfie Turner (3) and Max Paterson, Connor Holmes and Harvey Menzies being joint men of the match. Hamish McCallum came off his sick bed to impress for the winners.
Dynamoes’ under-tens, who shone in defence and with their passing ability, ended Guiseley Yellow’s 100 per cent record, also in the Red Division, beating them 2-1 as Guiseley’s lead was overturned by Louis Anderson and the non-stop Louis Turner.
Defender Harvey Weston-Beyer was Dynamoes' the man of the match but Will Robinson also shone in a great team display.
Dudley Hill Rangers under-nines were 0-0 at half-time against much-improved Westwood but defeated them 8-0 with an energetic second-half showing, and efforts by Harry Norton (4), Spencer Dunk (2) and Dominic Howard (2).
Kian Howard was man of the match award for an accomplished display at the back but unfortunately Rangers added Jake Softley, Niall Griffiths and Carl Hadley to their injury list ahead of next week's big clash with title rivals Calverley.
Wyke Wanderers A saw off Rastrick 3-0 in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League.
Stan Cahill put Wyke ahead in the first minute but they had to battle hard before Jack Leach netted twice in two minutes in the second half to make it 3-0.
Reece Clay was unlucky not to be on the scoresheet, despite numerous shots on target and a clear goal that wasn’t given.
The B team lost 8-3, Tyrese Liu, Ranganai Muza and Luke Morphet netting for Wyke before both of their teams concentrate on cheering Bradford City on at Wembley.
