Baildon so close in finals

Baildon Ladies B team finished second among over 100 clubs competing in the Yorkshire League.

This earned them qualification for the league finals at Silkstone, where they faced Flaxby in the semi-finals.

The Baildon players performed admirably and were only beaten 4-3 after the deciding game went to extra holes.

* Hollins Hall are appealing for teams for their captain’s charity day on Thursday, September 22 (11am).

The event is in aid of Listening for Life, based at the Ear Trust at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

The four-player team competition features nearest the pin and beat the professional prizes.
