Horsforth’s annual charity am-am will continue for at least another year after overwhelming support from members and visitors.
This summer’s 20th event was originally going to be the last following the death of founder Danny Kitching in January.
But with £15,000 having been raised from the latest competition, the club have now set a date for next year of Friday, June 29.
The four-man team stableford was originally organised to raise funds for Cookridge Hospital and latterly the Bexley Wing. In total, £220,000 has now been raised.
