SIX Bradford golfers have won limited-edition BOSS prizes for hitting hole-in-ones at their respective clubs.

David Tempest-Mitchell, 56 and a 14-handicapper, aced the 174-yard par-three second at Woodhall Hills.

Fellow Bingley golfer David Potts, also 56 but playing off 15, notched his memorable shot on the 168-yard par-three fourth at West Bradford.

Meanwhile, Bradford's John Gill, 70 and a seven-handicapper, scored his on the 174-yard par-three 14th at Fulford Golf Club in York.

Kevin Asquith, 43, Andrew Busfield, 41, and Daniel Olivieri, 39, also joined an exclusive club created by the German watch brand.

All three achieved their success on par-three holes, Asquith from 230 yards at East Bierley Golf Club, while Busfield and Olivieri's were over shorter distances at their South Bradford and West Bradford clubs.

A delighted Tempest-Mitchell said: "I hit a six iron and the shot went straight towards the flag. When we got to the green, we found my ball resting in the hole against the flag pole."

Stephen Brydon, commercial director for MGS distribution, the UK distributor for BOSS watches, congratulated the three golfers.

"Well done to Andrew, Daniel and Kevin for accomplishing one of golf's most elusive feats," he said.

"For most amateur golfers, a hole-in-one is as memorable as winning The Masters would be to a professional. We want to ensure they have something tangible by which to remember the day, other than an expensive bar bill.

"The limited-edition BOSS timepiece is exclusively available to golfers who achieve a hole-in-one. It not only immortalises a once-in-a-lifetime feat but also serves as a memento of their achievement.

"We also hope it might lift the spirits of amateur golfers during club competitions who may not be in with a chance of winning the event but can still feel excitement every time they play a par-three, knowing they are just one shot away from winning an exquisite timepiece."

The scheme has rewarded club golfers with £1.5million of the exclusive H1Club watch during club competitions since 2013.

It is for golf clubs which use HowDidiDo – a social networking website for golfers – with 1,800 signed up for playing in club competitions.

The Bradford area golfers will be joining a members club of 10,000 which allows them exclusive benefits and access to merchandise from the H1Club.
