Willow Valley pair Denise Page and Sarah Dawson won the Grand Final of the Ping Fourball Betterball Tournament at Gainsborough with 43 points.
Having finished sixth in last year’s showpiece, Denise said: “We came back with the intention of trying to do better – and shocked ourselves!”
The top 60 pairs in the country qualified for the final following an initial entry of more than 17,000.
