Bingley St Ives’ promising youngster Jack Laybourne claimed a second-place finish in the Sandmoor Masters.
He carded an aggregate two-round score of 146 to finish three behind winner Andrew Jones, of Moortown, in the Yorkshire Order of Merit event.
Meanwhile, Ilkley’s Jack Lampkin was also second in the Wharfe Trophy at Wetherby.
He carded the best opening round of 67 but an afternoon 74 saw him finish one shot behind Moortown’s Nigel Sweet, who posted scores of 71, 69.
Bingley’s Henry Tetley was back in 17th spot.
