Bradford Park Avenue will be looking to avoid the Club of the Month curse as they head to Newcastle Blue Star tomorrow night in search of a ninth straight victory after picking up the UniBond Division One North award this week.
Seven of those wins have come in the league and that has put Avenue right back in the title race.
They are joint top with games in hand but could claim the outright leadership, with rivals Skelmersdale United hosting FC United of Manchester.
"People keep saying what about Skelmersdale, what about FC United, what about Curzon Ashton. I'm only concerned about my team," said Bradford boss Dave Cameron.
"In all honesty, I'm only bothered about how we do because I know if we win all our remaining games we will be champions and get promoted. No one could have predicted this amazing run we are on and only time will tell how long it will last."
