MARK Bower is hoping his side can take enough points over the busy Easter period to remove any doubt about future in National League North.

Park Avenue are ten points above the safety line with just four games remaining.

The next two fixtures come in quick time as Bradford host Tamworth tomorrow and then journey to leaders AFC Fylde on Monday.

Bower said: “We have everyone available from last weekend so there are no new injury concerns and we’ll need everyone with two big games in three days.

“If we can win this first one then we’re almost there but we know that we can take nothing for granted. We have a tough finish with four very difficult games against teams that are all pushing for promotion and have been at the top end for most of the season.

“But given how well we’ve done in the last four or five months we can go into this difficult run of games with confidence. We have put ourselves in a good position and it’s up to us to finish the job and take enough points to stay in this league.”

Tamworth also need the points as the ninth-placed club is running out of time and points available to break into the play-off places.

The Lambs are currently eight points adrift of Darlington 1883 who are fifth, on goal difference only in a tight battle for the end of season extras.

Bower added: “It’s well documented that we have a tough run-in but so have other clubs. No one is going to take maximum points from their last four games.

“This is our second to last home game and we need to take as much as we can from it because although we look to be just about safe you are always wary in football. It is a pivotal time because teams can pick up six points or none in three or four days.

“We go into every game looking to win but we know that four points from the two games would guarantee that we’re safe. If we win tomorrow and other results go our way then the pressure would be off, we want that as soon as possible.”

Avenue’s last home game of the season, against Stockport County, Saturday April 22, is all ticket.
