BRADFORD Park Avenue will face consecutive Saturday trips to Edgeley Park to take on Stockport County following the FA Trophy draw.

Mark Bower lead his Avenue side to face their former Football League rivals in Vanarama National League North this Saturday and will make the same journey a week later for their third qualifying round tie in the Trophy.

Farsley Celtic will host Avenue’s current league rivals Tamworth in the same round after the Celts won 3-2 at Evo-Stik Premier Division outfit Barwell at the weekend.

Farsley play their football in the northern section of the lower tier, and they are in action tonight at rivals Ossett Albion.

However, the clubs will not be playing for points as tonight’s clash is a League Cup first-round tie.

Liversedge and Thackley will very much be playing for points and bragging rights as Clayborn hosts the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division derby.

Sedge are third while the Dennyboys are second following an excellent run but are on the same points as leaders Cleethorpes Town.

Thackley have a worse goal difference and have played more games than the leaders and have also played one more game than Sedge but they have an eight-point advantage over their neighbours.

In last night’s action, Silsden were beaten in the Hallmark Security League second tier by a last-minute strike in a nine-goal thriller at Daisy Hill.

The Manchester club led 3-1 going into the second half but were pegged back, and the game was balanced at 4-4 when the home side’s goal machine Ashley Stott hit his fourth of the night to bag all three points for the Cutters.
