TONIGHT'S match between Bradford Park Avenue and Nuneaton Town has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The surface at the Horsfall has taken a battering since yesterday evening and, with the rain showing no signs of letting up, the club had no option but to call the Vanarama National North game off.
Avenue officials called in a locally-based referee to inspect the pitch ahead of Nuneaton's scheduled departure and he made the decision.
It is the second time this fixture has been postponed this season after it was originally scheduled for January 9 – two months ago to this day. A new date will be announced in due course.
The Toolstation Northern Counties East League match between Eccleshill United and Hemsworth MW scheduled for tonight has also been postponed.
