THE continuation of the severe wet weather led to three of last night’s games being postponed, the highest profile one being Bradford Park Avenue’s third qualifying FA Trophy tie at Buxton.
Bradford were due to host FC Halifax Town this midweek and that West Riding County Cup quarter-final tie will go ahead tonight, weather permitting. Avenue will now travel to Buxton next Tuesday which means their National League fixture at Worcester City that night will be shelved.
The other games to fall to the weather last night were Teversal v Albion Sports and Thackley v Eccleshill United in the NCE League Cup.
