PARK Avenue have bolstered their Worksop contingent after snapping up midfielder Jake Scott.

The 21-year-old, who can play in midfield or defence, becomes the fourth player to sign from the Tigers since January, following Alex Pursehouse, Jon Stewart and Tom Burgin.

Scott, who captained Worksop, said: “Coming to Bradford was a no-brainer for me. It’s a big step-up and one I feel I’m more than capable of making.

“I see myself as a ball-winning midfielder with loads of energy to get about the pitch and do the dirty work of the game as well as a good range of passing.

“I’ve only been in a couple of sessions so far and already I’ve seen the squad has ability in abundance.”

Scott is cup-tied today but will be available to make his debut at home to Gloucester City next week.
