Thackley-based student Sarah Benson, competing for UWIC Cardiff in an inter-university indoor match, broke her club’s shot putt record.
Her 12.92m throw broke her own Bingley Harriers record with her fifth-round putt.
The PB gives her confidence for this weekend’s BUCS indoor universities’ championships in Sheffield.
