Ian Fisher (pictured, No 1) was a comfortable winner of the annual Otley 10 Mile Road Race tonight.

The Otley Athletic Club runner finished two minutes ahead of runner-up Tim Midgley (Bingley Harriers), with Matthew John (Abbey Runners) in third place.

Fisher won in a time of 54min 43sec.

And Josie Hodgetts made it a double success for Otley AC as she won the women’s race.

There were 349 finishers on the night, 50 more than last year, as the evening rain failed to put a dampener on proceedings
