Bingley Harriers veteran Fred Gibbs struck individual and team gold for England at the UK and Ireland International Masters Cross Country Championship.
Seven club members made the trip to Swansea, with three winning individual medals, while all returned with team awards.
The headlines for the Harriers were made by club cross country captain Stewart Macdonald, who won a silver team prize in the Over-35 race, having ‘dropped down’ from his own Over-40 age group.
Macdonald made a few points with the selectors by beating some of the England Over-40s.
John Convery had a excellent run in the Over-45s category, finishing in third place and winning team gold, while Jon Cordingly also picked up gold with his Over-50s team.
The only club lady running on the day, Sue Becconsall, won team gold in the ladies Over-45 race but was outsprinted at the finish by club colleague Mike Smith, who won individual silver in the Over-65 category, closely followed home by Bob Dover in third place. The two won Over-65 team gold in the process.
It was left to Gibbs in the Over-70s, however, to show everyone how to win individual gold.
He made light work of the hilly and wet conditions to lead England to gold in the team race too
