Bradford Bulls and Great Britain star Sam Burgess is backing next weekend's The Co-operative Cubs to Lions' rugby league festivals, which are taking place at more than 50 venues, which are almost exclusively in the North of England.

The 19-year-old's message to the youngsters taking part is: "Go out and enjoy your rugby league.

"My advice to them all is that they can achieve whatever they want to do if they are committed. Just go for it."

Festivals are at Bradford Dudley Hill, Drighlington and Hunslet Parkside but there is also expansion into London and Wales.

The emphasis at the events is the route that can be taken from junior rugby right through to being a full international.
