CHAMPIONSÂ Wibsey, as anticipated, ended up without a game in Yorkshire Division Five last Saturday.
Wibsey's rugby chairman Steve Brooke said: "Visitors Rossington Hornets rang up at noon to say that they only had six players and wouldn't be travelling.
"We have been there ourselves but the trouble is that it is costing us money as we had arranged sponsors both before Christmas and last Saturday.
"My belief is that Hornets will drop out of the league and recoup ready for next season."
Wibsey are much more positive about this Saturday's match at home to Withernsea, however.
"They have already rung up to confirm and they are coming in a coach," added Brooke.
Wibsey have won all 12 league matches so far.
