Team manager Steve Brooke's ambition for Wibsey to be promoted before Christmas seem to have been scuppered
ROSSINGTON Hornets could not raise a side to face hosts Wibsey on Saturday in Yorkshire Division Five.
"They rang us up at 12.45pm to say that they only had six players," revealed Wibsey's team manager Steve Brooke.
"That match has now been re-arranged for Saturday, January 21 but it means that we will probably not now be promoted before the new year."
Wibsey, who have won all nine of their league matches so far, do not play in the league now until Saturday, December 10, when they are at chief rivals Mosborough.
