3:40pm Thursday 12th January 2012 in Bradford Salem By Bill Marshall
Joint leaders Bradford Salem, the best bet of any of the local sides to be promoted, have a much-changed line-up on Saturday at home to Leodiensians in SSE Yorkshire Division Two.
Fly half Mark Barlow (training camp with Dewsbury Rams) and Amesh Ahir and Ollie Shaw (both returned to university) are absent from Salem’s squad, and they might not be the only ones.
The Heaton side are hoping to call on left winger Danny Thomas (groin), hooker Dave Hutton and No 8 Kris Falwasser (shoulder injuries) but all three face fitness tests.
Dom Ram replaces Shaw, while Tony Williams and Ian Woodwiss form a new half-back partnership.
Bradford Salem (home to Leodiensians): C Savva; D Ram, J Robinson, M Steel, D Thomas; T Williams, I Woodwiss; J Bradbury, D Hutton, S Davies, J Cunliffe, A Savin, D Pearson, K Falwasser, J Booth. Replacements: S Markey, C Buxton, A N Other.
