BAILDON snatched a 29-26 victory over understrength Bradford Salem with a late try by Alex Teasdale in their Boxing Day clash at Jenny Lane.
Dan Fletcher and Teasdale both grabbed two tries for the home side, whose other points came from a Luke Strauss try and two conversions by Tom Massey.
Salem's tries came from centre Chris Clough (2), who was guesting for the visitors, and ex-Baildon player Henry Brown (2), with Wibsey's Clough drop-kicking three conversions.
But the visitors, who only had 14 players at their maximum, had to play the last 30 minutes with 12 against 15 up the slope due to injuries, notably to Jake Green and James Callender.
Baildon's Tom Peel said: "We are very happy with the win against one of our derby rivals."
