Manchester may have lost all 16 of their National League One matches so far this season but the fact that they only trailed Wharfedale 28-23 after an hour last week should serve as a warning to Saturday’s visitors Otley, whose skipper Howard Parr says: “Anyone who thinks this weekend will be a walk in the park for five points is sadly mistaken.
“Manchester have some players from Sale Academy who weren’t there at the start of the season and the team are being coached by some of the Sale staff.”
Parr hopes to return after injuring a calf muscle in the warm-up against Newbury on December 19.
"I should never have played in that match," confessed Parr.
"But I am 50-50 to return on Saturday - I will see the physio tonight - in what is a must-win game for us."
