Wharfedale mix it up for Yorkshire Cup semi-finals

Wharfedale’s selectors have gone for a combination of youth and experience for their Centurion Yorkshire Cup semi-final at holders Huddersfield tomorrow night (7.15).

Fit-again Dan Hart returns to the wing to play outside Tom Barrett, who moves from the fly-half position to accommodate Will Bell.

Jim Mason comes in at blind-side flanker, meaning that two of the season’s stars – Dan Solomi and James Holland – will share the No 7 shirt.

Wharfedale: L Davies; J Druce, T Barrett, J Tincknell, D Hart; W Bell, J Gough; J Altham, S Graham, N Dickinson, R Brown, R Rhodes, J Mason, Rob Baldwin, J Holland or D Solomi. Replacements: M Tampin, C Steel, D Stockdale, R Davies, P Woodhead, S Crabtree, Holland or Solomi.

Cleckheaton have named a strong side for their last-four tie at home to Hull tomorrow (7.00).
