BRADFORD & Bingley Bees director of rugby Martin Whitcombe says his side need one more win for survival in North East One after losing a key player.

The Bees travel to Bridlington tomorrow looking to bounce back from a 36-7 home defeat to West Leeds last Saturday.

The disappointing loss puts Bees five points above the drop zone in ninth place on 44 points, but with a game in hand on four of the five teams below them.

Whitcombe said: "We have got to get another win and we will be doing our best to get it.

"We were disappointed with last week's result. We were in the game at half time.

"But we have got a positive approach to the game. We have that for every match and we try to win them.

"Bridlington is a tough place to go. It is a long journey for us and they are not on a good run of form.

"We are going to do our best. There will be changes as we can't seem to keep the same team for a few games in a row."

Bees were dealt a blow earlier this week when New Zealand and Tonga international Fuifui Moimoi changed codes to join rugby league side Workington Town, managed by former Bradford Bulls ace Leon Pryce.

The former NRL star has been playing rugby union for Bees after leaving Championship club Toronto Wolfpack under a cloud before the start of the season.

Whitcombe added: "It was a pleasure to have him play for us. It was a luxury while it lasted.

"Fuifui was looking for a move back to rugby league. But it does not affect us as a team too much, as we still have great players here."

Whitcombe said he expected a number of changes to his side for tomorrow's clash.

Meanwhile, BRADFORD SALEM will be looking to get their own Yorkshire One survival hopes a boost with victory at Old Rishworthians tomorrow.

Salem crashed to a 39-14 home defeat to Middlesbrough on Saturday, a result which leaves them fourth-from-bottom on 35 points.

BAILDON face their second fixture in three games tomorrow after falling to a midweek home defeat in Yorkshire Three.

Baildon suffered their fifth loss in their last six games as they were beaten 16-10 by Old Otliensians on Wednesday night.

Baildon now travel to Leeds Modernians tomorrow looking to fend off the threat of relegation.
