Despite having an impressive front row, Wibsey could not back up their 53-3 victory over Nestle Rowntree in Yorkshire Five as they slipped to a 27-5 defeat at Rawmarsh.
Coach Dave Grayson said: “Props Stuart Wilson and man of the match Andy Rose and hooker Adam Dutton were outstanding but Rawmarsh had a monster pack.
"We also lacked a cutting edge in midfield. Now we are building towards this week’s home game against Rossington Hornets.”
Wibsey’s try came from pacy winger Dale Green following quick hands.
