Leeds Carnegie have received a boost ahead of their Guinness Premiership clash with Wasps at Headingley on Sunday.
The leg injury suffered by former England scrum half Andy Gomarsall in Friday night’s win over Sale is not as bad as first feared.
It has responded well to treatment and he is expected to be in contention to face his former club this weekend.
