Leeds Carnegie have announced that their final home game of the Greene King IPA Championship regular season against Cornish Pirates will now be played on Friday, April 25 (8pm).
The match was due to be played the following day but with Headingley now set to stage the BBC-televised Tetley's Challenge Cup tie between Leeds Rhinos and St Helens, Leeds Carnegie have worked with Cornish Pirates and the RFU to move the fixture.
Leeds Carnegie chairman Sir Ian McGeechan said: "Obviously this is a huge game for the Rhinos and the stadium with it being televised live on the BBC.
"When we received the request, we were happy with work with the RFU and Cornish Pirates to move our fixture, and hopefully it will make for a great weekend of rugby at Headingley Carnegie.
"We would like to thank the RFU and Cornish Pirates for their understanding and help on this matter."
The Roundhay v Headingley 1975 Yorkshire Cup final reunion will still take place but will now be on Friday in the pavilion (6pm).
