WITH almost a whole team out injured, Wibsey could not field a side for their second-round Yorkshire Vase tie at Halifax on Saturday.
Yet due to the generosity of their hosts, the match has been rearranged for Saturday, December 2.
Wibsey secretary Steve Brooke said: "We have 14 players out injured and we could have cobbled a side together. But we had no front row and it would have included kids with the risk of sustaining further injuries.
"I explained this to Dean (forwards coach Cotton) and they had the chance to claim the match. But they have been good about it and agreed to rearrange it for December 2."
