CLECKHEATON v Huddersfield is one of three tasty derbies on offer in the Bradford area on Saturday (the others are Yarnbury v Bradford Salem and Aireborough v Baildon.

However, Cleck's head coach Scott Benton would rather be taking on the unbeaten National League Three North leaders with a full-strength squad at Moorend.

The former England international said: "We are struggling in the backs. Ollie Depledge has injured a knee and will be out for months, Matt Piper is still injured and Lee Queeley is on Forces duty.

"Prop Paul Turner is due to land back from China today but it would have been nice to have taken on Huddersfield on a level playing field."

Otley, who broke their National League Two North away duck with a 17-13 victory at Sheffield Tigers last weekend, are at home to Stourbridge.

"Tigers will cause sides problems, but we are in good form at the moment and if we play anything like we have a chance of winning," said Otley's head coach Peter Clegg, who is likely to be without fly half Nick Coupland for over a month with a jaw injury.

Bradford & Bingley, seeking a sixth straight win in North One East, having made seven and eight changes in the past fortnight, only switch six at Wheatley Hills.

Among those coming back are No 8 Tom Cummins and winger Connor Capper, while 20-year-old lock Cory Spencer gets a chance in the engine room alongside Harry Jeffrey.

Old Grovians have fly half Ben Brown and centre Toby Harris back for their Yorkshire Division Two match at home to Old Crossleyans, but could be missing Harry Hardy, Harry Dunhill and Charles Cockshott, while skipper Joe Garforth could be a week away from returning.

Baildon, who are second in Yorkshire Division Three and whose season is going in sequences (won seven, lost two, won two), have winger Hayden Lister and prop Joe Smith starting, while Hayden's brother Nick is on the bench.

Wibsey, who have won nine out of nine in Yorkshire Division Five, are without prop Danny Carr and forward James Birkbeck at home to Rossington Hornets, but forwards Simon Birkbeck, John Nall and Richard Lucas could return, as could back Jimmy Rodgers.
