Wibsey only travelled with 15 men and lost flanker Chris Farley to an accidental knee to the head, scrum half Elliott Gray with a pulled hamstring and prop Cliff Bacon with a back injury, the hosts lending them a player to help even up the numbers.
Fly half, and their man of the match, Bryn Worsley scored Wibsey's try, James Sawyer converting.
