Sam Savage scored one of Bradford Salem's two tries before the abandonment
BRADFORD Salem's SSE Yorkshire Division Two match at home to Sheffield Medicals was abandoned after 31 minutes when Central Society referee Steve Richings was carried from the field after twisting his knee.
Leaders Salem were leading 12-3 at the time with tries from centre Dan Scarbrough and winger Sam Savage, full back Danny Belcher landing a conversion.
It is likely that the game will be replayed on Saturday, March 14.
