WELCOME to Yorkshire will recognise the county's rugby league success at the White Rose Awards later this month.

Bradford's women, Leeds, Castleford and Hull FC have all been invited to show off their silverware at the 'Big Night Out' event.

Yorkshire have dominated the sport this year, with the Bulls leading the way in an unbeaten season that saw them win the Challenge Cup, top the Super League table and win the inaugural women's Grand Final.

Meanwhile, Hull beat Wigan in the Challenge Cup final, Castleford claimed the Super League leaders shield and the Rhinos were winners of the Grand Final.

Players and officials from all four clubs have been invited to join a 1,000-strong audience for a night of live entertainment, celebrating their own success and that of Yorkshire's tourism business.

Welcome to Yorkshire chief executive Sir Gary Verity said: "Rugby league is one of the great sporting events that brings people to Yorkshire and our teams have had fantastic success this season.

"It's fitting that they join us to celebrate the best our tourism industry has to offer and all the great things about our county."

Tickets are still available for the event at the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Monday, October 30, with doors opening at 6pm.
