WIBSEY'S under-14 girls won a well-contested match 16-14 against Orrell St James in which both sides showed their attacking and defensive skills.
The Bradford hosts were twice behind at Northfield Road but responded via a storming try by Grace Winnick, with four St James players being unable to stop her, and Holly Benson, who scored from 20 metres out.
Hannah Donald added the goal to Winnick's try, and Wibsey then edged the match thanks to a quick play-the-ball, resulting in a try for Bailey Alexander.
Wigan St Judes and West Leeds Eagles are among other opponents for Wibsey, who have also formed under-16s, senior girls and women's teams.
