Bradford Dudley Hill's promotion dream took another giant step towards fruition with a 56-6 success at Waterhead in the National Conference League.

Hill produced a stunning display to rack up the half-century tally, with two tries apiece from Lewis Evans, Alex Dickinson and Simon Sewell supported by others by Craig Tyman, Darren Mumby and Neil Wall.

Scrum half Tony Williams was the model of consistency with eight conversions as well as a try of his own.

Further good news for Hill was that York Acorn, who currently occupy the all-important third promotion berth, went down 37-10 at leaders Wigan St Judes.

This leaves the pot boiling nicely for a nailbiting end to the race to secure a Premier Division berth next season.
