Bradford Dudley Hill's National Conference League luck looks to have turned for the better following the abandonment of their vital Division Two promotion clash at Thatto Heath Crusaders.
The referee decided to call a halt after 51 minutes because of a waterlogged surface with Hill trailing 18-0, and Conference administrator David Lowe has swiftly rescheduled the game for Wednesday, April 16 (8pm).
With just under a half-hour left to play, an 18-point deficit in the modern game can quickly be overcome and the chance of another bite of the cherry will boost a Hill side still smarting at the two-point deduction for fielding an illegible player earlier in the campaign.
