Bowling in final flourish

West Bowling finished their National Conference League Premier Division campaign on a high with a rousing 18-0 defeat at title-contenders Skirlaugh.
Bowling gave the classy hosts one of their toughest games of the season, with the 0-0 half-time scoreline a clear indication of their determination.
Coach Richard Heseltine was full of praise, saying: "They scored two quick tries after the break and another at the death but we were absolutely buzzing, with Paul Hutchinson the best forward on the field, and not for the first time this season the opposition said they could not understand how we have got ourselves relegated."
