Relegation-haunted Queensbury travel to high-flying Drighlington on Saturday knowing they need at least a draw to ensure Pennine League Premier Division rugby next season.
Bury are locked alongside Kippax, who have completed their fixtures, in second from bottom, and while the omens are not looking good following defeats in league and cup, Bury have managed two draws so far in the battle to avoid the dreaded drop.
West Bowling A face Victoria Rangers at Emsleys Rec still reeling from Wednesday night's torrid encounter at Keighley Town.
Bowling's burning Division One promotion prospects looked to be heading for the rocks when they trailed 16-6 and the match was abandoned in the 59th minute due to a suspected broken leg to Danny Ramsden.
Prop Andrew Senior also suffered a neck injury and the game looks likely to be replayed after missing three-quarter time by a minute.
The task in hand, however, is to secure the points against a Vics side that are on their way down to Division Two.
Local pride will play its usual part and Bowling must count their other bumps and bruises before selecting.
Birkenshaw, who are out of the running to go up in third spot, are in sparkling form, which could spell a busy afternoon for hosts Dodworth, who they beat 34-20 at East Bierley earlier in the season.
Wyke will be Division Two champions if they see off main rivals Newsome Panthers at Towngate.
The Huddersfield side appear to hold all the aces, though, having won both the league and cup encounters this term.
Coach Jason Hirst, however, is quietly confident his boys will collect the trophy, saying: "We are at full strength and bang in form at just the right time.
"They gave us a bit of a runaround, winning 44-4 at their place, but all that is history with home advantage very much in our favour.
"Newsome will be under tremendous pressure because they still have to win at Emley Moor, who are third, on Wednesday night in order to take the title."
Queensbury A are seeking a Division Four double at Brighouse A.
