Wibsey Warriors’ trophy cabinet received some new additions recently after they were presented with their 2010-11 silverware at the Pennine Rugby League’s annual dinner.
As well as collecting the championship and Bradford Cup trophies, the Warriors were also awarded the Team of the Year accolade, while James Riley was given the league’s Media Award.
Ryan Smith was named as the club’s Player of the Year at the club’s own awards evening, with Dan McDonald taking the Players’ Player of the Year crown and Mike Horrocks retaining his Top Tackler status.
Andy Carman scooped both the A team’s Player and Player’s Player awards for the A Team, with Joe Harbon also retaining his Top Tackler prize.
Ahead of the new campaign, Wibsey are currently seeking applications for the position of A team head coach.
