Pennine League Division Three West leaders Clayton must wait until Brighouse Rangers finish their fixtures to see if the hefty 54-0 home win over Worth Village has secured the championship trophy.

The Villagers, who have finished their programme two points up on Rangers, must hope their rivals slip up in their two remaining games.

Scott Pendlebury’s boy’s claims to the silverware were reinforced in a nine-try romp, led by stand-off Jimmy Waddington (2) and loose forward Phil Redgrave (2).

Scrum half Devon Gurney, hooker Josh Lanfear, centre Simon Metcalfe and props Chris Wooler and Jamie Waterman chipped in with solo efforts, with full back Ryan Wilkinson kicking nine goals.

Queensbury also posted a half-century in a 50-0 rout at West Leeds in the Championship Division, with wingman Scott Swann landing seven conversions, while Victoria Rangers enjoyed a welcome 26-18 win at Ossett Trinity in Division One.

The hosts led 18-14 after a close first stanza, when the Vics posted touchdowns from Jamie Kerr, Cameron Foster and Elliot Hodgson.

Rangers went on to claim the spoils with further efforts from Scott Butler and the impressive Kerr.

Wyke full back Tim Stones ran in two early tries in the black and whites' 26-10 home win in the Division Two clash against Selby Warriors.

Stones ran 40 metres to open the hosts' account before producing a blistering break to sprint under the uprights for his brace.

Wingman Tevin Campbell celebrated his 18th birthday with a try in the corner, which, together with a Jordan Payton conversion, put them 14-4 up at the break.

Centre Ryan Exley tormented Selby with his elusive running on the restart before Wyke captain Ian Wormald made the game safe with a powerfully-taken brace.

Second-row forward Kieron Helliwell posted telling tries either side of half-time to send Wyke A enoute to an18-8 win against visitors King Cross A in Division Four West.

Wyke’s second string warmed up for their Hudson Foster Supplementary Bradford Cup final appearance at Odsal Stadium on Sunday, May 1 when good support play from Marc Goodwin allowed him to cross to keep the momentum going.

Second-row forward Stevie Richardson then dispelled any doubts about the result when he barged over near the end.
