EMMERSON Whittel is set to return to action for Cougars Reserves on Saturday – a month ahead of schedule after a suffering a broken jaw in the controversial Challenge Cup win at Fryston Warriors in February.

The second-row forward has made a quicker than expected recovery following the injury sustained in a brawl which marred the third-round tie.

Keighley Reserves duo Gavin Reed and Luke Walters are set to feature in opposition as a part of the Scotland side.

The game is a 3pm kick off at Cougar Park with admission prices set at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for juniors.
