COUGARS open their League 1 campaign with a long trip to South Wales Scorpions on Sunday, March 6.
The venue for the match has yet to be decided and then Paul March’s side face two sides relegated from the Championship last season in successive week.
Doncaster are the first visitors to Cougar Park on Sunday, March 13 before a trip to Hunslet on Good Friday (Friday, March 25,) with a 2pm kick-off.
Keighley have a bye in round six of League 1 due to the introduction to the league of Toulouse Olympique, who they travel to France to play on Saturday, June 18 at Stade des Minimes.
The current French champions, who played in the Championship from 2009 to 2011, are joining League 1 for the 2016 season, and will be one of the favourites for promotion to the second tier.
Their arrival also signals an alteration to the division's format - as it heralds a "Super 8s" section like those in the top two tiers, whereby the top eight teams break away part-way through the season to fight it out for the top-five play-offs.
