COUGARS loanee Adam Brook has made his temporary stay from Bradford Bulls a permanent one after penning a two-year deal with the club.

Brooks has made nine appearances for the club since arriving in late May to help fill the void left by the death of Danny Jones and is set to return from a knee injury this Sunday against Hemel Stags.

He said of the move: “I’m chuffed to have signed for the club. It’s been a tough first year as a first-team player but I’ve got use to the challenges of playing at this level now.

“It’s going to be physically different for myself going part time because I’ll have to get use to back up a full week’s training and now work heading into a game on a Sunday.

“It won’t be much different in terms of training as you’re doing three nights field and gym work instead of three days as I do now at the Bulls.”

Brook also commented on the influence Cougars’ head coach Paul March had in his decision to turn his loan move permanent.

“Marchy was a massive influence, since the first day I’ve come to the club he’s been very welcoming and helpful and is one of the main reasons I’ve joined the club," he said.

“Paul is a top bloke and as a half back myself, I can’t think of anyone better to be coached by than a half back with over 400 appearances, most of which were in the Super League.”
