Bradford's Tim Sugden and Andrew Kirkaldy finished sixth in the Zolder FIA GT in their Scuderia Ecosse Ferrari F430 GT2 car.
That and the seventh place by their sister car gave them enough points for the team to clinch third place in the series. The championship was won by the works-backed AF Corse team.
Sugden experienced problems with a "long brake pedal" during his stint in a car set up for Kirkaldy, who has driven it all year. This resulted in lap times slightly slower than Sugden's optimum from practice and qualifying.
He said: "Andrew did a great job at the start and it was looking really good for us.
"After he handed over to me, I struggled a bit with braking - as the other drivers prefer a different brake set-up to me - so I wasn't as fast as I would have liked to have been.
"Other than that, though, the car felt good and the tyres were good so we were disappointed not to finish higher up the field."
Sugden's next outings are on November 3-4 at Zuhai in China when he will switch back to his Porsche for the Asian Carrera Cup.
