    Unlucky 13 for Bulldogs

Bradford Bulldogs suffered a 13-1 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Lions on Sunday.

The short-benched Bulldogs put in a good performance against their powerful Nottingham rivals but the speed and power of the Lions proved the difference between the sides.

The Bulldogs' only goal was scored by Jordan Ashington, with assists coming from Aaron Dad and Josh Stockton.

The club's under-12s beat Sheffield 5-4 thanks to goals from Liam Kirton(3), Alfie Glenn and Leon Pryce, who scored his first for the club.

The under-14s produced a great performance to beat Mercian 7-3. Myles Dacres (4), Kane Hampshaw (2) and Bradley Chapman were on target.

The under-16s won 3-2 at Grimsby to complete a great weekend for the junior section.
