Georgina Simpson produced a second successive top 20 finish on the Ladies' European Tour when she tied 18th in the Spanish Open.
The Gomersal player recovered from an opening-round 76 to card scores of 71, 73 and 71 at the Panoramica course in Castellon and finish on three over par.
Her final round saw her come back from two over to one under thanks to three birdies in a row on the seventh, eighth and ninth holes and only some poor putting prevented her from improving her score, having hit all the back-nine greens in regulation.
She said: "I am very happy with my game. It has shown definite signs of improvement over the winter in all areas and now finishing 18th here at Panoramica just shows that it can stand up under pressure.
"I was 82nd after the first day in the wind so to finish 18th after such a bad start, I am happy with."
Bradford-born Rachel Bell missed the cut on 15 over.
Simpson, an honorary Cleck-heaton member who now plays out of Huddersfield, moved up to joint 48th on the Order of Merit after finishing tied 15th the previous week in the Catalonia Open.
The next event is the Scott-ish Open at The Carrick Carrion House from May 1-3.
