Hollins are kings at Keighley

Hollins Hall won the final Bradford Winter Alliance of the season which was a four-man team event at Keighley.

With the best two scores on par fours, the best three scores on par fives and everyone counting on the par threes, Hollins' team of Martin Hawksworth (13 handicap), John Morris (18), Chris Howe (3) and Joe Smith (5) carded the best score of 101.

That was two clear of The Manor, made up of Pete Pilgrim (5), Mark Weighman (+1), Gary Weighman (12) and Lee Weighman (9).

In third place on 97 were Woodhall Hills quartet Geoff Pickard (8), Jack Torbett (5), Charlie Varley (9) and Neville Robinson (6).
