Thackley make the journey to Doncaster to take on Armthorpe on Saturday in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, so they could do neighbours Sedge a favour by softening up their cup final opponents.

But the Bradford side have to go into game after an unscheduled break.

"It must have been the quietest Easter on record for us - it will be a fortnight since we played," said Thackley boss John Boyle.

"We only missed the one fixture though. We were only down to play last Saturday but it was off because of the snow.

"I would have preferred us to play to keep the momentum going. We have been playing well.

"There are even more players missing as well, Danny Forrest is on holiday and Lincoln Donaldson is at a wedding.

"Club captain Joel Etienne is still in the Caribbean but Ben O'Melia does return to the squad."
