BRADFORD Park Avenue Under-19s had Tanvir Ali on target in their 1-1 pre-season friendly draw against Pro-Elite Academy.
Avenue then suffered a 4-0 defeat in their final friendly against an West Riding County FA under-18 representative team.
However, Avenue manager Alex Meechan said: "It was a good experience for my lads to lose against an obviously strong County FA team."
Brighouse Town Under-21s went ahead through Ethan Nixon in their last pre-season friendly against Huddersfield YMCA Under-19s but eventually lost 2-1.
Huddersfield equalised on the hour but netted the winner with only three minutes left.
Silsden Under-21s lost 3-2 to Silsden Whitestar in a pre-season friendly, with Danny McComb and Chris Wademan netting for the under-21s, who had earlier defeated Salts Under-21s 3-2, with Josh Metcalfe grabbing a hat-trick for the winners.
With Thackley Under-19s dropping out of the Northern Alliance League, there are now only two clubs from Bradford competing this season – Avenue and Eccleshill United.
They will be facing Ossett Albion, Steeton, Huddersfield YMCA, Ossett Town, AFC Emley and Shelley in the West Division.
