THE awards were spread out at Thackley's presentation evening, with the four main prizes all going to different players.

It was a good season for the Dennyboys as they finished fifth in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

Their on-field efforts ensured there was a very positive atmosphere at the awards night.

There was a new category as the club had a supporters' player of the season for the first time and the inaugural winner was Jerry White.

The man who got the vote from his peers to pick up the players' player of the season was goalkeeper Luke Wilson.

The committee's choice was the versatile Paul Whiteley, while the management and coaches voted for Josh Snowden.

Thackley have also confirmed a full list of pre-season friendly games with seven fixtures, four of which are at Dennyfield.

Secretary and spokesman Mick Lodge said: "The first game is away against Tadcaster Albion under-21s and I think that the coaching staff want our under-21s to be the main part of the squad for that game.

"But we've got some good games after that and even though we've done a lot of work on our pitch, that won't restrict home friendlies.

"We've got four and they should be good games because there's a couple against neighbours and a couple against sides from the Evo-Stik League.

"It's a good schedule and it should be good preparation for the new season."

Thackley's pre-season friendly games: Tadcaster Albion U-21s (A) Sat, July 8; Knaresborough Town (A) Sat, July 15; Silsden (H) Tue, July 18; Ossett Albion (H) Sat, July 22; Colne (H) Tue, July 25; Campion (H) Sat, July 29; Steeton (A) Tue, Aug 1.
