The latest non-league friendly tonight pits new boys Campion against more established neighbours Thackley at the Sportsbulk Stadium Scotchman Road.
Campion are certainly testing themselves this week as they host the Dennyboys just three days after opening their pre-season programme by welcoming Harrogate Railway.
Monday’s game was a thriller, with the Rail snatching a victory as Chris Ovington’s late winner made it 4-3 to the visitors.
Jonny Greenhalgh, Fabian Evans and Matt Waller, from the penalty spot following a handball, were on target for Campion.
The new Toolstation Northern Counties East League Division One outfit should be sharper, however, than their Premier Division visitors as tonight marks the Dennyboys’ first outing this summer.
