LIVERSEDGE continue their battle to pull clear of relegation form the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division with a tough home assignment against Pickering Town.

The Clayborn side will also be hoping that local rivals Thackley, who they drew 1-1 with on Tuesday night, can do them a favour.

Thackley are away to Liversedge's fellow strugglers Pontefract Collieries.

Both Thackley and Sedge will have been pleased with their performances on Tuesday. After a goalless first half, Rhys Jenkinson put the visitors in front with a screamer of a shot from distance but minutes before time Thackley's Thomas Dugdale rescued a point with a free-kick.

Albion Sports are immediately above Thackley in the Premier Division table and they also face lowly opposition when they visit Armthorpe Welfare.

Kulwinder Sandhu's side reached the semi-finals of the League Cup in midweek with a 5-0 win at Rainworth MW on Tuesday.

Eccleshill United host eighth-placed Hallam in Division One and will be looking to build on their back to back league victories as manager Sean Regan targets a positive finish to the season.
